Violetta Lupo was born in Milan to a father from Campania, Gennaro, and Rosa Venezia, from Basilicata. She studied and taught in Sacile in Friuli Venezia Giulia until the summer of 1978. She graduated in Philosophy from the University of Padua and attended the Scuola Libera del Nudo at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. She later moved to Campania where she currently lives between Irpinia d’Oriente- Bisaccia and the province of Naples. She was a teacher of History and Philosophy at the Liceo Classico “Antonio Rosmini” in Palma Campania. Previously, she taught in Primary School and worked as a Psychopedagogist with the task of recovering minors in difficulty and preventing school dropouts, on the project of the former Superintendent of Education of Naples, Gennaro Fenizia. The author is proud of her children Emanuele and Eleonora, her daughter-in-law Wanda and her son-in-law Pietro. She is immensely happy with her nephews Valerio and Gabriele Luigi, and her niece Aurora Rosa. Her thoughts go to her family of origin, to Sacile, to Melfi and to the memory of her beloved brother Arcangelo.
